Notley Abbey is one of those places I never get tired of photographing.
Set within beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, the Abbey has an atmosphere that feels both grand and incredibly intimate. From the historic architecture and beautiful gardens to the quieter corners that make perfect backdrops for portraits, there is so much to discover throughout the day.
I love the way a wedding unfolds here. The morning preparations, the ceremony, drinks in the gardens, dinner in the Abbey and the energy of the evening all have their own character, giving me the opportunity to tell the complete story of the day without forcing moments or making things feel overly staged.
A VENUE CLOSE TO HOME
Being based just 15 minutes away in Princes Risborough, Notley Abbey is also a venue that feels very close to home for me. I've had the pleasure of working here and know the grounds, light and spaces well, from finding beautiful locations for portraits to knowing where those quieter moments can naturally happen.
For me, that familiarity is important. It means I can be completely present with you on the day, while quietly making the most of everything Notley Abbey has to offer.
